The Edwards Group poses for a group photo in front of the Chemistry Building

The Edwards Group is a highly interdisciplinary research program, combining mathematical modeling with physical/analytical techniques, particularly those based on electrochemical principles. They aim to understand processes and manipulate objects at the micro- and nanoscale. The topics investigated range from energy applications (batteries and fuel cells), nanobubbles and nanoparticles, to biophysical phenomena.

A constant thread throughout their research is the development of novel instrumentation and experiments, in order to push the limits of what can be measured.
